Cryan Veterinary Hospital

My dog, Angel III, is a difficult pup to say the least. She's anti social to other dogs as well as strangers. But she's the love of our life since we rescued her 8 years ago. Cryan figured out a way, from early on, to get her into the office to get a simple nail trim. It blossomed from there with the procedure working for more serious appointments. Angel knows the "crew" now, and does well at her appointments. This last one, that went well, included a vaccination, teeth cleaning, nail trim, and some checking out of ear problems and skin tags. Having a problem dog has become easier when it comes to her health. Cryan is exceptional, and I'll always be thankful for their care.

I can't express enough how grateful I am for the amazing staff at Cryan! My dog has torn both of her ACLs and had to undergo surgeries. Thanks to the smooth and efficient process at Cryan, Annie is back to her happy self! My cat is a whole different story. He's a hot mess and not always the friendliest. Thankfully, they are always there to help with his many health issues. The staff is so passionate and caring. Not to mention PATIENT with all my animals. I couldn't have asked for a better place to take care of my pets!

This is not the same place I went to with my last pup! Meaning some have retired and they employ temporary vets now who aren't there full time. That said, I don't feel like I'm a valued customer- in my last few interactions, I haven't felt the same warm fuzzy metaphorical hug as from previous years past. I'm more another person versus a valued customer. Not to say they didn't take time, but I don't have a relationship, nor does my pet and that leaves me feeling more than a little flat. I also was told "we have that med here and I can get you a few" as they were giving me samples not charging me $3.68 a pill for something I could get from a pet pharmacy for 50 cents a pill. I shopped around and found them 15 years ago and the level of care and concern was what kept me as a customer, they genuinely listened and looked at my pups overall health and we discussed concerns, they always remembered him when he visited and were loving with him. 4 stars. My dog was horribly misdiagnosed by one of the vets here. He didn’t do anything: no exam or tests. Wound up at medvet who actually ran tests and arrived at the right diagnosis several months later, getting her on the right meds. She was REALLY sick. There is only one vet she will see at Cryan now because she is the bomb and the only one I trust. Hence the 4 stars.

We’ve been taking our pets to Cryan for almost a year now and just aren’t very impressed. At our last visit they didn’t do a thorough exam of our pup, the vet came in and met Grace then told us she’d be back to speak with us, she never came back. The tech came back and handed us meds but wasn’t able to talk to us about her diagnosis or how to prevent these issues in the future. I’ve attempted to call many times since then and have not received any communication back. Another downfall of going to Cryan was never knowing which vet you were going to see and no continuity if you had to come back for a follow up visit. I felt more comfortable with one of their traveling veterinarians than any of their staff I had met.

We went to Cryan with out two labs for the first time yesterday and Cryan did a great job for both of them. Andy is dying of cancer and they were very gentle and loving with him. They examined him thoroughly, confirmed the diagnosis we were given at MedVet, removed the stitches from his surgery, and asked us if we needed any medications. Very professional and caring. They were equally as gentle, loving, and professional with our other lab who is getting on in years and suffers with arthritis. They examined her thoroughly, gave her the rabies shot she needed, and took some blood to be sure her medications are not causing her any problems. Excellent care. I will recommend Cryan to everyone I know who needs first class pet care.
